All waltzes ... The concert title conceals lively and well-known works by Johannes Brahms and Johann Strauss (son), such as a selection of the "Hungarian Dances", the overture to the operetta "Die Fledermaus" or the waltz "Wiener Blut". It was in Baden-Baden, one of the cultural capitals of the 19th century, that the two artists met and also arranged to meet in private.
The Liederhalle opens at 2 p.m. and drinks and snacks can be purchased in the foyer. We recommend arriving early before the concert starts. Sufficient wheelchair spaces are available.
