Almost Twins

Even before they have released their first album, the Leipzig band around singer and guitarist Max Grüner has established itself as an insider tip in Leipzig and Berlin. The five musicians, who have already begun their journey on the German festival and club scene, inspire with a sound that is both subtle and moving.

Their songs combine warm synthesizer pads, dreamy saxophone and clarinet sounds and circling Wurlitzer melodies, which come together to create a sound that is both light and profound at the same time. Almost Twins oscillate between dreamy serenity and musical expression that evokes memories of artists such as Erlend Øye, José González or This Is The Kit.
