Alpen Film Festival 2024 „You’ll Never Walk Alone Tour"

The Alpen Film Festival, one of the most successful film tours in Europe, is coming to Cologne and will take place at the Cinenova cinema in the Ehrenfeld district.

Five very different short films about the passion of the mountains and alpinism as a cultural asset will be shown at the Alpen Film Festival. The films will be entertainingly presented by outdoor personalities, giving the events a special live event character.

Anne Bley will be the presenter in Cologne. The five short films of the new "You'll Never Walk Alone" tour 2024 are about friendship in the mountains, but also about how the two trail runners Magdalena Kalus and Susann Lehmann face their greatest challenge: the "Eiger Ultra Trail". After their first attempt, they ask themselves what failure really means - and how they deal with it.

So you don't have to be a mountaineer to be carried away by the passion, poetry, joy and sadness of the films.

The short films feature, among others: the world-famous extreme climber Robert Jasper and his wife Daniela Jasper, one of the strongest and most creative alpinists of modern times, Michi Wohlleben, as well as the ultra runners Susann Lehmann and Maggy Kalau.
