Competitions on ice - that's where it all began. The strength of Ines Papert: Strength, great talent, absolute willpower. She is one hundred percent focused at the crucial moment - even with baby Emanuel in tow. Because she is a single mother and a professional.

Alpine climbing takes the place of competition. Big wall climbing in Patagonia, expeditions in women's teams, often just the two of them. It's not the well-known destinations that entice her, but the unknown ones. Ines also learns what it means to fail. An accident on the Marmolada influences her life, her attitude, her tolerance for risk. Flexibility in her choice of route and waiting for safe conditions become even more important to her. On her third attempt on Kyzyl Asker, she meets the top Slovenian mountaineer Luka Lindic. They become a team, on the mountain and in life. Together they plan new routes along the Panamericana, but Corona gets in the way. They discover new terrain on their doorstep, in Berchtesgadener Land and Istria.

The multivision not only shows the sporting aspects of an exceptional climber, it also brings us closer to a strong woman who goes her own way on the rock and in life - and who wants to give her audience exactly that: that it is always worth pursuing your dreams and goals.
Ines Papert came into contact with the mountains when she was just 20. Then things went from strength to strength: she became a four-time world champion in ice climbing and multiple World Cup winner. At the Ouray Ice Climbing Festival in 2005, she also beat the entire male competition. Since retiring from competitive sport, she has dedicated herself to first ascents and expeditions: the first ascent of the six-thousander Likhu Chuli I, the free ascent of "The Hurting", one of the most difficult ice trad routes in the world, or the first free ascent of the "Schwarze Madonna" route (8a) on her home mountain Untersberg.
