Ananda Project – Ein Abend mit Klassischer Indischer Musik

In the organizer's words:

Indian classical music has a centuries-old development and spiritual tradition. In concert, the musicians and their own souls, called Atman, connect and find inner harmony time after time. In this way, the musicians create this beautiful, intuitive music again and again, just in the moments of playing together.

At the center of this ensemble are the singer Adrija Basu and the singer Alick Sengupta. Both are young professional musicians from Calcutta who have already performed on All India Radio. The formation is complemented by sitar player Ayan Sengupta, tabla player Ashis Paul, harmonium player Sarang Kulkarni and violinist Peter Panduranga Bayreuther to form a unique ensemble.

The musical performance of this ensemble is characterized by intense and exciting interaction. The music group has come to Germany from India for several concerts. To experience them at their only concert in Hanover is a special opportunity for all friends of classical Indian music!
