Every superhero has a trauma, but rape is rarely one of them. The chambermaid Amelie is the victim of sexualized violence at her workplace - and subsequently develops special powers with which she can identify and punish perpetrators. Elsa van Damke's pitch-black superhero satire doesn't shy away from any social truth, no matter how sad, or from any genre leap. Because when Amelie meets her tormentor in the course of this five-part mini-series, the sarcastic tone can sometimes tilt towards horror.
