That's all in the past now. And wonderful things have happened since then, especially in his private life. Ansa has fallen in love and married into a Swiss pop star dynasty of Sicilian origin.

Needless to say, this kind of emotional exuberance is inspiring, and album three reflects this crucial point in his life. It is his masterpiece. Romantic, poetic and as fiery as ever. The boisterous power pop of the lead single "Erfolglos" signals that Ansa is still hungry and overflowing with passion and lust for life. Due to his language, Ansa is quickly placed in the unsexy German pop corner; but this time more than ever, it should be emphasized to all cynics that this is so much greater cinema. He simply shakes a sunny pop gem like "Palermo" out of his sleeve. On "B-Sides", the fun-loving Dresden native, who has lived in Vienna for five years, also shows his reflective side and becomes as majestic as one can be without being kitschy. "Jung" begins undercooled and naturally can't hold back, but turns into a cool, stormy thing by the chorus at the latest.

The pared-down acoustic ballad "Schlaflied" eventually grows into a soul anthem before ascending into the heavens. Let's not kid ourselves. It's just beautiful.

You can't always get what you want... but you can get what you need! There's so much more to say. But Ansa can certainly do that better via interviews.
