Inaugural lecture

What current developments in computer science and artificial intelligence (AI) are we working on in Oldenburg? Seven new professors have been appointed to the Department of Computer Science at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in the last four years. They have enriched us with exciting and important focal points. In this lecture series, they present themselves and their topics in a generally understandable way.

The lectures take place every Wednesday from 4 p.m. in the CORE.

Speaker: Prof. Dr. Andreas Peter

The Department of Safety-Security-Interaction deals with the development of theoretically sound methods for maintaining thesecurity of IT systems in the context of safety-critical systems and the Internet of Things. The focus is on the development of security solutions that are tailored to the context-specific framework conditions and take into account various user interactions(interaction) as well as the functionalsafety of the systems to be protected.

The inaugural lectures are freely accessible. Open to all - come along!
