APTERA
In Greek mythology, APTERA was the site of the battle between the Sirens and the Muses, where the Sirens lost their wings and were cast into the sea. But this Germany-based 4-piece is less a contest and more of a raucous party.
Aptera swirls forth in a sonic tornado of classic metal, doom, psych, thrash and punk. With members hailing from Italy, Belgium, the US and Brazil, they heeded the call and converged in Berlin, joining their global heavy sensibilities in a cacophony of lashing riffs and propulsive rhythms. Weaving together contemporary and mythological tales of rebellion, revenge, and rising from the ashes, Aptera's "You Can't Bury What Still Burns" is a guttural cry, a battle call, a resurrection on wings of fire.

BATTLESWORD
Battlesword have been flying the banner of melodic death metal since 1999 and have gained a steadily growing following on international stages with their powerful and likeable live performance. In 2019, on the occasion of the band's 20th anniversary, it's time to unleash their fifth output after a maxi, an EP and two albums. On -And Death Cometh Upon Us-, the quintet proves that they are not to be killed off and are far from being old hat. With a concentrated load of energy, experience and their own distinctive style between melodic death and Scandinavian old school, Battlesword manage to leave a trail of destruction with their latest longplayer and leave the listener with extensive neck pain.
