Ari Abdul, who hails from Brooklyn, New York, is coming to Germany for four shows in May. Her very own sound of dark alternative pop was created through the influences of her family. Ari's Ecuadorian mother loved Latin music, while her Costa Rican-Palestinian father introduced her to classic rock. Everything was rounded off by her brothers, who were into hip-hop and metal.

She started playing electric guitar at the age of 14 and was inspired by grunge songs. However, at first she did not dare to share her work - let alone her voice - with the world. It wasn't until Ari's mother encouraged her to make her own music in July 2021 that the spark ignited.

Combining a range of visual and stylistic influences, Ari describes a mysterious and unique touch. She finally released her debut single "BABYDOLL" earlier this year, followed by the sped-up version "BABYDOLL (Speed)". Both versions achieved viral success with over 83 million global streams, 400 million TikTok views and 420,000 TikTok creations.
