Since their formation, Arrested Development from Atlanta have not only helped hip-hop to gain new political awareness, but have also proven almost incidentally that it is possible to combine meaningful messages with substance in a life-affirming way with music. The band immediately became an important voice in their genre thanks to their commitment to the interests of the African-American community and minorities in general. Today, the content of their spiritual alternative hip hop is more relevant than ever - it's good that they're back.
