Art of the Trio: A classic instrumentation in jazz is the trio. Whether as a piano trio like Keith Jarrett's or other unconventional trio combinations, this ensemble sheds light on the special features of playing together as a trio, because "three are a crowd". ---- Jazz History Ensemble: The development of different arrangements and pieces from the entire history of jazz and the attempt at a stylistic comparison of different eras is the program here.
