ARTe Kunstmesse Dortmund 2024: Ein neuer Stern am Kunsthimmel des Nordens

The ARTe art fair is coming to Dortmund for the first time and will enrich the art scene in northern Germany with an event. From November 8 to 10, 2024, Hall 1 of Messe Dortmund will open its doors to art lovers and collectors.

The ARTe Kunstmesse Dortmund is supported by the patronage of Mayor Ute Mais and offers a platform for contemporary art and classical modernism on around 2,000 square meters of exhibition space. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of artistic expressions from more than 70 galleries and artists: sculptures, paintings, drawings, photographs, collages and objects are presented in an inspiring and open atmosphere.

These include Galerie Klose from Essen, which is exhibiting works of contemporary painting, photography and sculpture with a focus on figuration, as well as CoGalerie from Karlsruhe, whose focus is on the presentation of contemporary, rather unknown artists from France and Germany.

As a platform for contemporary artists and up-and-coming talents in the art scene, individual artists are also represented at ARTe Kunstmesse Dortmund. These include Natalya Radünz from Tönisvorst near Krefeld, for example, who uses an exciting variety of techniques and painting media to create her works. The Danish artist Ole Hedeager will be showing a selection of his drip paintings and Andreas Görzen, from Hachenburg in the Westerwald district, is a painter of abstract realism.

With a curated, wide-ranging selection of artists and galleries, the ARTe art fair will be the first creative showcase for contemporary art in Dortmund. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience works by established masters and up-and-coming talents up close and to purchase works on site.

This unique marketplace of artistic diversity, with its open stand architecture, invites visitors to discover, linger and enjoy, while promoting dialog between exhibitors and guests interested in art.

From November 8 to November 10, 2024, Messe Dortmund will open its doors for the premiere of ARTe Kunstmesse Dortmund. This will be the 27th time the ARTe art fair has taken place in Germany.

Friday: November 8 from 5 to 9 pm.
Saturday: November 9 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday: November 10 from 11 am to 6 pm.

Price information:

Admission at the box office is 15 euros, concessions 10 euros (for pensioners, schoolchildren, students and people with disabilities). Children under the age of 16 have Free admission when accompanied by an adult. Discounted tickets are available as multi-day tickets in advance at the ARTe Store.
