Artist Meets Archive #4 - Supporting program

In July and August, the five artists from Artist Meets Archive#4 of the International Photoszene Cologne will be in the city for their residencies to immerse themselves in the individual collections and archives and the diverse (photographic) history of Cologne. The resulting artistic projects will be presented during the Photoszene Festival in May 2025. But you can already get to know the artists now:

Artist Talk with Marta Bogdańska & Jimmi Wing Ka Ho

What potential and opportunities does photographic and artistic work with institutional archives offer? What discoveries have Jimmi Wing Ka Ho and Marta Bogdańska made in the various collections during the first weeks of their AMA residency? On August 8, the two artists will talk to Daria Bona about their work, present individual projects and reveal what motivated them to explore the holdings of their residencies. We are excited!

Jimmi Wing Ka Ho's residency focuses on the photo collection of the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum. Marta Bogdańska is a guest at the Cologne City Museum.
