Haunting, heavy and downright groovy: Scorched Oak from Dortmund are a trio that deliver an unmistakable interpretation of stoner rock, doom metal and much more. Rolling rhythms and crushing riffs with a penchant for gloomy atmospheres are joined by the band's characteristic dual vocals. Sharing lead vocal duties, bassist Linda's fantastic voice and guitarist Ben's raspy roar play off each other to create a dynamic balance and breathe mysterious new life into the band's sonic roots. Scorched Oak has been featured in publications such as The Doomcharts and Metal Injection, shared the stage with acts such as 1000mods and Pallbearer, and has rocked the Stoned from the Underground and Rock Hard festivals. Following their critically acclaimed 2020 debut "Withering Earth", the trio take the next step in their ambitious journey with new album "Perception" from 2024, reaching new heights with a sound that is darker, groovier and more layered than ever before. Scorched Oak have arrived to set sense and mind ablaze.
