In the organizer's words:
The third exhibition in the "From the ZF Cultural Foundation" series is dedicated to contemporary art this fall. In the sculpture room of the Museum Moderner Kunst Wörlen, the works of selected artists provide an insight into the extensive contemporary collection spectrum of the Cultural Foundation of ZF Passau GmbH.
On display are paintings by Pia Mühlbauer (*1953 Arnschwang), Elke Zauner (*1972 Altötting), Rainer A. Riepl (*1946 Linz) and HP Zimmer (1936 Berlin - 1992 Soltau) as well as drawings by Karl Schleinkofer (*1951 Passau).
The selected works are characterized by abstract structural elements. On the one hand, line formations are condensed into textures of varying intensity and, on the other hand, organic form elements are interwoven into lively compositions; at the same time, multi-layered spatial situations emerge from the combination of different color surfaces.
