Ausstellung: Ingrid Roscheck

In the organizer's words:

Cologne-based artist Ingrid Roscheck (born 1957) builds sculptures, paints watercolors, draws and designs pictures with the help of artificial intelligence. Her artworks can be seen in the foyer of ARCHITEKTENKAMMER.NRW throughout the summer.

Architecture and houses have always been Ingrid Roscheck's preferred subject. She is exhibiting her works at the NRW Chamber of Architects from June 25 to September 13. Three large sculptures can be seen in the foyer. Wall sculptures and pictures, created using different media, extend across the 20-metre-high concrete wall, which is connected to the visible staircase.

Ingrid Roscheck creates her large, house-like sculptures on trolleys; they are mobile in this respect and counter the immobility of architecture. The artist calls these works of art "picture vehicles". Ingrid Roscheck plays with the themes of architecture, archives and home. Her "houses" are archives of memory.
