AVENTURA UNPLUGGED presents, together with AventuraBremen, Emotional.Zone, CafeSchwarz.TV, Rausgegangen Bremen and DowntownIslandRadio
from 7 to 9 pm, whereby..., the end of the evening is largely determined by the audience (i.e. you)!
AVENTURA.LIVE is real unplugged, the musicians play without amplification, it couldn't be purer, more original and closer!

KNIPP GUMBO (solo)
"RockʼnʼRoll un sowat - op Platt und Hoochdüütsch!"

Knipp Gumbo (pronounced Knipp GAmbo) is the name of the Low German "One guitar - one voice - a bunch of songs" solo program by drummer, singer, guitarist and songwriter Lars Köster.

After several years behind the drums with Die Mimmiʼs and Velvetone, among others, Mr. Köster made his musical contribution to the overall situation, he grabbed his guitar, which he usually only used for songwriting, to put himself in the spotlight without the protective drum wall and indulge in the uninhibited fun principle with a good pinch of "schiet wat op".

The musical meal is hearty and hearty: RockʼnʼRoll, Americana and singer-songwriter between Paladins, Bad Religion, Steve Earl and Insterburg & Co.
They will perform their own songs from various creative periods and selected cover versions.
And as if that wasn't enough, the whole thing is served with Low German lyrics!

Where does this funny name come from?

Knipp is a Grützwurst related to Pinkel. It is a specialty in Bremen and in some regions of Lower Saxony.
Gumbo (pronounced: gambo) is a spicy stew thickened with dark roux from US-American southern cuisine.
So: KNIPP for the North German soul and GUMBO for the musical influences from the South of the USA.

All concerts are hat concerts, which means that YOU as a guest decide what amount you think is appropriate and put in the hat. There is no rule for this, you alone decide. A little tip: musicians create their works, rehearse and come to us at the venue! Musicians love "spotlights" and any amount is welcome - just like you! We accept cash or EC cash!

The "Bullaugen" bar provides all guests with good drinks and a small snack from the kitchen during the concerts.
