In cooperation with Die Brücke - Averroès and Rosa Parks are the names of two departments at the Esquirol psychiatric clinic in Paris. They belong to the same group as the Adamant day clinic floating on the Seine, which is the focus of Nicolas Philibert's last film. In his new film, Nicolas Philibert continues his exploration of the subject. In individual interviews and conversations between patients and caregivers, the filmmaker shows a form of psychiatric work that gives a lot of space to the patients' words. Step by step, the doors to their worlds open. The film explores the question of how the possibilities of a healthcare system that is reaching its limits can be used to give disadvantaged people a place in society.
