Backyard Safari „Auf der Pirsch im Dschungel der Popmusik“ Konzert

An evening with Backyard Safari is like a family pack of surprise eggs for grown-up music fans! When Ralph Stöve, Robert Faust and Michael Korneffel take to the stage, they don't play conventional cover versions. No, they mercilessly use all styles of music to give great pop classics a fresh, cheeky, cheerful and surprising makeover - when a dancefloor banger by Kylie Minogue is transformed into a romantic ballad or a David Bowie song is played on the zither, the audience and the musicians have a great time - as does the use of children's pianos, banana boxes and glued-together construction pipes. A host of strings and other instruments (which don't always work quite as they should) and fine three-part vocals round off the whole thing. The band dispenses with the usual amplification systems, which flatters the ears and creates a magical atmosphere.
