In the Baltic States, choral singing is an essential part of tradition and identity. This is evidenced not only by historical political events or singing festivals with stadium-filling numbers of participants, but also by the rich repertoire that has been created in the last few decades in particular. In its concert "Windwehen", Capella Vocale München dedicates itself to this multi-layered and exciting
exciting world of sound, which reveals clear influences from nature, the turbulent history of the Baltic countries and sacred contexts. All of the contemporary composers on the program represent an anti-avant-garde, highly emotional musical language that invites you to immerse yourself in the culture of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Lena Grubisic will provide an atmospheric setting for the concert evening on the oboe.
The concert will take place on July 14, 2024 at 6 pm in the Himmelfahrtskirche (Munich Sendling). Admission is from 5 pm.
