Band Night: The truth about Eve / Recital Julian Glaner

In the organizer's words:

Eva Klimmek plays her own compositions, modern jazz with influences from pop, rock and free improvisation, alongside standards from pop and jazz. In her compositions, Eva points out grievances in modern Western culture: the feeling of hopelessness in the face of the suffering caused by man-made climate change; the incredibly charged interpersonal metropolitan atmosphere full of anger and lone wolves. The lyrics remind us of what really counts: a loving togetherness, a good grounding. They encourage listeners to confide in each other, to show weaknesses & to live more in connection.

The Glaner Quintet consists of friendship, good humor and POWER! A set that has it fist thick behind the ears! Funk is brought back to the JazzHall!
