The fact that Banda Balorda is a three-piece initially seems strange, as several of their pieces sound as if they were written for a large orchestra. But it is precisely this limitation that leaves plenty of room for playing around with arrangements and instruments. For example, singer Francesco Ciccarelli likes to play the harmonica, shaker or kazoo. His Italian lyrics are accompanied by guitarist Thomas Brand and Tobias Mückenberger on double bass.
