'We Are All One'

is the title of the 3 x 1.90 m painting by Düsseldorf artist Barbara Elisabeth Meisner.

Dr. phil. Emmanuel Mir (exhibition director of DIE GROSSE) wrote about this painting: "... in her monumental painting "We Are All One", Barbara Meisner is concerned with the 'connection between cosmos and earth'. She negotiates complex connections, but remains legible. The painting interweaves free, painterly accents with narrative motifs based on archetypes that can be guessed at or sensed. Her painting - like all art - requires a certain willingness to receive. But anyone who encounters these pictures with an open and unbiased mind will understand the universal messages that Barbara Elisabeth Meisner brings to form."

It will be on display for two weeks from September 20 to October 4, 2024 in a container next to the Strandbühne Düsseldorf along with other works on the theme of 'Elements' (fire, earth, water, air and ether) as well as oil paintings of the Südpark/Volksgarten Düsseldorf, which the artist painted there in the summer of 2024 in the footsteps of the Impressionists.

Barbara Meisner says she likes to exhibit in unusual places and welcomes all interested parties there in person from Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday/Sunday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m."My painting 'We Are All One' shows the connection between all people and all living things. The events on the Strandbühne also make a very concrete contribution to the connection between people. That's why I'm particularly pleased to be able to exhibit there - very close to people. What better address for this than the Joseph-Beuys-Ufer on the Oberkasslerbrücke?"
