Female fronted party power metal from Finland? Yes, please, absolutely! As long as it's Battle Beast. Famous for their energetic shows, incredibly catchy choruses and quirky humor, the sextet around charismatic front woman Noora Louhimo is well on its way to fame. The band from Helsinki, who topped the Finnish charts for the fourth time in a row with their last album "Circus of Doom" and reached number nine in Germany with the record, sound stronger than ever with their latest tracks. Since winning two major band competitions in 2010, Battle Beast have been busy touring. Over the years, fans around the globe have come to love the explosive combination of shredding guitars (Juuso Soinio and Joona Björkroth, heavy bass (Eero Sipilä), symphonic keyboards (Janne Björkroth), crashing drums (Pyry Vikki) and Louhimo's unique voice. Both "Bringer Of Pain" in 2017 and "No More Hollywood Endings" (2019) won Battle Beast the Metal Album of the Year award at the Emma Gaala - the Finnish equivalent of the Grammys. Somewhere between the nostalgia surrounding the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, heavy power metal, bombastic melodies, fast-paced string art and contemporary production, Battle Beast deliver an uncompromising sound on record and on the stages of the metal world, not without refined finesse. At the latest when the riffs roar loudly and Louhimo soars into the air, there is no stopping the mosh pit. Battle Beast have just played a brilliant show in Wacken at the beginning of August, and next February you can see their live qualities for yourself on an extensive indoor tour.
