Attempts to live together as a community fail everywhere. A mayor gets bogged down in grassroots democracy, a policewoman is excluded from bouldering, and in a housing project, shared care work becomes a source of conflict.

The reasonably comforting Song of the Choirs is an evening of theater in which a chorus of the disenchanted tries not to abandon democracy, but to revive it.They set out to find the lost part of the Oresteia - the birthpiece of democracy - in order to heal it symbolically. But how does a chorus come together and make decisions? Can a chorus be tender with each other and at the same time develop transformative power?
