Bauernmarkt mit verkaufsoffenem Sonntag

Once again this year, the farmers' market with Sunday shopping will take place on the first weekend in October (05.10. & 06.10.24). On Saturday and Sunday, the advertising association Gelsenkirchen City organizes the popular autumn market through the city management. The organizers are supported by the Bahnhofcenter Gelsenkirchen and the City Initiative Gelsenkirchen e.V. The popular farmers' market will once again be held in the Gelsenkirchen city centre between the station forecourt, Bahnhofstraße and Neumarkt. As a special highlight, a Dutch market with around 45 additional exhibitors will once again be held on Heinrich-König Platz on Sunday this year. The retail trade will also open its doors on Sunday from 1-6 pm.

The farmers' market starts on Saturday at 10 am. Around 70 exhibitors will be coming from all over the region and neighboring countries. The exhibitors enchant the pedestrian zone with autumnal colors with pumpkins, fruit and farm products such as cheese, herbs, sausage, dried flowers and handicrafts.
