Behind the Haystacks - The Greek Film Festival goes Frankfurt

A middle-aged, indebted fisherman living on Greece's northern border begins smuggling migrants across the border lake for a hefty fee. His wife, a devout housewife, searches for truth in God's word, while the couple's daughter tries to define her own life in an oppressive environment. Until a tragic incident rocks the family, forcing the three heroes to confront their own personal hopelessness and weaknesses as they contemplate the price of their actions for the first time in their lives.
