Best Of Poetry Slam I Im Wizemann

Stuttgart's biggest poetry slam: for the Best of Poetry Slam, the Stuttgart Sprechstation invites the best word artists in the German-speaking world to a gigantic poetry battle in the large hall of Im Wizemann.

The crème de la crème of the German-speaking poetry slam scene meet here every two months in front of 650 spectators. We look forward to a literary firework display that once again shows how close, sustained and pointed the word can be to the pulse of the times. From stand-up rhymes to literary comedy, from poetry to rap, from performance prose to classic short stories - anything that promises a polished, fast-paced performance and literary hits is allowed - right into the heart of the audience. As always, the winner of the evening will be determined by the audience.

As always, we invite a selection of the most eloquent and successful stage poets from all over Germany to Stuttgart, and there will also be live music as part of the supporting program. The lineup with all artists will be announced on the Sprechstation website.

The evening will be hosted by Thomas Geyer from the Stuttgart Poetry Slam.
