The Modern String Quartet and Maharani Chakrabarti will perform this special concert evening. Together with the pianist, the crossover artists between classical music, new music and jazz will interpret Modest Mussorgsky's famous cycle Pictures at an Exhibition in an arrangement specially conceived for the Silbersaal. The synaesthetic evening is completed by projections of the pictures that inspired Mussorgsky's composition. Founded in 1983, the Modern String Quartet is one of the most influential ensembles on the European crossover scene.
