Black Patti - that's Peter Crow C. and Ferdinand "Jelly Roll" Kraemer. The two blues and roots musicians have been touring international stages and festivals together for over 10 years. In two voices, handmade and uncensored, the multi-award-winning duo tell stories that life writes in their songs. Musically, Black Patti is oriented towards the unique mixture of rural styles that emerged in the USA before the Second World War. With their extremely varied repertoire, the South Germans present delicate, artistic and touching roots music between deep black Delta blues, bouncy ragtime and soulful spirituals. Their music moved the world-famous illustrator, founding father of the underground comix scene and prewar blues specialist Robert Crumb.
