Blackbox Sessions - Bud Spenzer Heart Chor goes Punk

In the organizer's words:

Today the Bud Spenzer Heart Choir is on fire! In this special punk edition, the almost 60 choruses and their sensational live band will make every eardrum shake! They reinterpret the songs from the popular Bud Spencer and Terence Hill films: hardcore versions of Flying Through The Air, Bulldozer and Trinity will blow your hair back.

For almost eight years, the Bud Spenzer Heart Choir - the Z stands for heart ... and lots of emotion - has been singing its way through the musical oeuvre of Bud Spencer & Terence Hill. Alongside the iconic dubbing by Rainer Brand, the songs are what make the films so charming! Most of them were written by the Italian brothers Guido and Maurizio de Angelis, better known under their stage name Oliver Onions. But Ennio Morricone and La Bionda also contributed to the soundtrack.

The Munich pub choir performs a wild mix to dance along to, sing along to, party along to, headbang along to and get goosebumps along to. The 50 singers have songs by The Prodigy, Nirvana, Paul Kalkbrenner, Danger Dan and Dreiviertelblut in four- to eight-part chorus guise.
