X-Mas: Blockprint

Are you curious about how block printing works? Have you always wanted to carve your own stamp?

Watch out! Stamp carving and printing is addictive!

Are you ready for your next adventure? Grab your carving tools, get set, go. In this workshop we will learn how to make stamps from carving rubber, color them and print them by hand. You will be given a plate (10x15) from which you can carve one large or several small stamps. Choose from different templates or bring your own design templates. Together we will adapt them for your stamp and transfer them, get to know the carving tools and use them to print on different types of paper. We will use bright colors and experiment with patterns and layouts.

Imagine the joy when you see the first print you have made from your own hand-carved stamp. In the end you will have unique block prints, for yourself or to give as gifts. You will also receive tips and ideas on how you can use your stamps.
