Blühen fürs Klima – Klimaanpassung und Biodiversitätsförderung durch Begrünung

Flowering climbing plants are beautiful to look at and help to adapt the climate and promote biodiversity. There are a few things to consider to ensure they grow well on a building.

In winter, you have time to find out about the plants and climbing aids and choose a suitable spot so that everything is ready for spring and you can start planting.

The extreme weather changes of recent years show that we must continue to prepare for the consequences of the climate crisis. Despite more green spaces, trees and political decisions for more greenery, Munich is still feeling the heat in the city.

At the event, our speakers Laura Orru and Andreas Rockinger will explain how important it is to green buildings and which details should be taken into account. They will show how nature-based solutions can help to reduce the heat in the city and improve life for people, animals and plants.
