Family celebrations... Who doesn't know them? Whether it's a silver wedding anniversary, birthdays or Christmas. They are gatherings to celebrate with loved ones. The young single mother also takes her two children to celebrate with her cousin Martin and his model family. Phillip's family, a banker and Martin's best friend, are also at the lavishly laid table. It soon becomes clear that the festive meal is not going to be a peaceful one, because instead of a happy family atmosphere, a trial of strength between different lifestyles develops.
