Bounce the ball – Eine Hip-Hop Inszenierung

Hip-hop as an urban youth culture with its various forms of expression in rap, breaking, DJing and graffiti has been an integral part of the STAMP Festival for many years. This year, STAMP will open with a hip-hop show choreographed especially for the festival on June 7 under the artistic direction of Niels "Storm" Robitzky. In collaboration with eight outstanding dancers, an exciting choreography will be created that combines movement material from all hip-hop dance styles such as locking, popping, breaking, krumping and newstyle. The dance performance is accompanied by a projection by Michael Menke from Spannweite Media GmbH, which visualizes actors and actions in soccer that are committed to more diversity in the fan scene and in soccer clubs. The premiere of the play at the start of the STAMP Festival will take place on Platz der Republik in the heart of Altona.

In the days leading up to the premiere, visitors to the STAMP Festival will be able to enjoy a very special treat: rehearsals for the play will take place in public on Platz der Republik from June 3. This look behind the scenes not only allows you to see the finished product, but also the path to it, with all the decisions, changes, trials and balancing acts involved.
