Mohammed Mouneer, or known musically as "Bu Kolthoum" is the Arab Region's famous Soul and Funk influenced Hip hop music producer, Songwriter, Rapper and Singer.
What sets Bu Kolthoum apart is his seamless fusion of various sonic realms, drawing from the rich tapestry of 'Tarab,' 'Zajal,' and 'Ataaba' music that immersed him during his formative years. Complementing these influences is a diverse palette both sonically and thematically, incorporating elements of Hip Hop, R&B, and Soul, have shaped and refined his artistic vision. With over 14 years of honing his craft, he has created what are now regarded as timeless classics of modern Arabic music, rendering him a pioneer of a sonic paradigm uniquely his own and charting new territory in the musical landscape of the Belad Al Sham region. Releasing many authentic unique sounding singles, like his most known yet "Jouwana" and some of the classics "Zamilou" and "Mamnoun" which are nearing 10 million views on Youtube.

Over the years, he has graced some of the grandest stages across Europe and around the globe, including prestigious events like the Holland Festival, Roskilde Festival, Lowlands Festival, and Carthage Music Festival. He also performed alongside luminaries such as Damon Albarn and The Orchestra of Syrian Musicians at the iconic music festival Glastonbury. In a highlight of his career, he captivated audiences with a his performance on the esteemed COLORS stage in 2021, showcasing 'Shiva' from his last soulful album, 'Talib.'"
