"Der nackte Wahnsinn" is a declaration of love to Munich and its inhabitants. Author Thomas Kraft presents his new novel together with Gert Heidenreich as presenter in the Seidlvilla.

About the book:
On a hot summer's day, the narrator, a Munich architect and dandy, makes several appointments to view apartments as he is looking for a student flat for his son. He wanders through Schwabing and neighboring districts. In his encounters with places and friends, he immerses himself in the Munich of the turn of the century and the 1980s, talks about black widows and his great love, and meets Hans Magnus Enzensberger and Klaus Lemke in a café on Leopoldstrasse, at the Chinese Tower, the fashion-conscious Carry Brachvogel, the talkative Oskar Maria Graf in the Atzinger, Otto Gross and Ali Mitgutsch in Türkenstraße, the frivolous Emmy Hennings with the Puma in Café Luitpold and many other figures and inhabitants of Schwabing's shadowy realm. Up close and in retrospect, he relives the changes and constants of life in the big city.
