Bud Spenzer Heart Chor

In the organizer's words:

When a small group (which was soon to become a very large one) met in January 2017 to found the now legendary Bud Spenzer Heart Choir, the participants did not expect this project to last longer than a year. A fun idea that would fade away just as it had come? Far from it!

Six years later, the choir is more vocally powerful than ever on the stages of Germany and (thanks to Rainer Brandt) sings its way through the musical oeuvre of Bud Spencer & Terence Hill. Come with me for fun in my buggy! - the songs make up a large part of the charm of the films, this incredible amount of slapstick moving pictures. Banana Joe, Flying Through the Air, Bulldozer, Sheriff - and of course the famous La la la la la la from "Two like pitch and brimstone" - Carlo Pedersoli's very own choral debut.

A good two thirds of the songs were written by the Italian brothers Guido and Maurizio de Angelis, better known under the stage name Oliver Onions. In summer 2018, the choir met the Onions for the first time, in front of 4,500 spectators at a concert at the Spencer Hill fan meeting in Saxony. That was great love! So much so that a joint concert soon followed in the Columbiahalle in Berlin.

And so the journey of the Bud Spenzer Heart Choir continues. Across the entire oeuvre of Bud, Terence, Maurizio and Guido, across the Federal Republic of Germany. Bud would have liked that, said his executor. We are on fire and will never stop - EINSATZ!
