Café Istanbul is a lively meeting place with lots of highlights. A place that connects and builds bridges. It provides space and a stage. Deep dive and more information below.

We invite you again to our "winter nest" in the cozy, warm AtelierZentrumEhrenfeld. This time already from 14:00! Look forward to our musical guests, enjoy our culinary highlights from Istanbul toasts and böreks to Çay, Rakı and Meze or discover our installations and presented art.

And now traditionally the venue for the Turkish Delicatessen Baking Tournament. For all those who want to take part, click here. There are once again great prizes and trophies, but also much more - games, fun, excitement and new friends!

Deep Dive

café istanbul is a home, a safe haven for all those who stand between the bubbles, who switch back and forth, who don't feel completely seen, understood, even accepted. A place that provides space and a stage for post-migrant ideas, content and protagonists.

Not a hidden place, much more a "look, this is who we are and this is how it works!". Not an idea, not a place for or against. A place for common ground. An idea that unites and blends our culturally diverse and hybrid identities. Not in seclusion "among ourselves", but in the midst of our one-dimensional bubbles, with and among our friends without diverse, migrant identities. A place for pluralistic togetherness, for new ideas and inclusion.

Everyone who wants to question and expand their own boundaries and horizons is welcome. Who also want to break down and overcome the one-dimensionality of the dominant society. Who want to counter the polarization in our society and set an example of alternatives.
