Charlotte Illinger is one of the outstanding jazz singers of the younger generation. With her authentic jazz feeling of the 50s and 60s and impressive scat singing, she is the fourth instrumentalist in the ensemble. Jazz trombonist Nils Landgren praises: "Your voice, your timbre and your feeling have completely won us over."
Trained in the Bundesjugendjazzorchester and at the Folkwanghochschule Essen, she has won prizes such as Jugend jazzt and the Sparda Jazz Award. Her debut album "But Beautiful" adds her own touch to tracks such as "Manhattan" and "I Wish You Love".
She is accompanied by the experienced Trio Indigo: Martin Scholz (piano), Alex Morsey (bass) and André Spajic (drums). Together they offer an elegant and touching jazz experience.
