Chris Hopkins, born in Princeton, N.J. (USA), has long been one of the most renowned musicians on the jazz scene with his colorful, creative style and can look back on an impressive 5000 concerts from elegant clubs to the Elbphilharmonie.

For this extraordinary concert, he presents a truly international all-star line-up, headed by Australian Nicki Parrott, one of the most renowned double bass players in the jazz world, who lived in New York for several decades and made a name for herself internationally from there, above all as a singer with stunning charisma and naturalness. Her versatile programs include songs from the repertoire of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee and many others. They are joined by Finland's best-known jazz musician and outrageously virtuoso Benny Goodman-style clarinetist Antti Sarpila and the up-and-coming Dutch guitarist Tijn Trommelen, who is also a disarmingly charming, easy-going singer in the style of crooners such as Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole.

The program includes classics of the swing era from the repertoire of Ella Fitzgerald & Frank Sinatra, probably the most famous singing stars of jazz, as well as other jewels of the "Great American Songbook" from Cole Porter to George Gershwin, spiced up with a little Holywood glamour à la Henry Mancini and much more.
