In the organizer's words:
AN EYE FOR AN "I"
They themselves must not be visible and yet they must see everything. Their angles are not fixed. They constantly change their position and perspective without realizing it. They hear everything through the constant noise level. They are all eyes and ears. They know everyone - their habits, their movements. But you can't see them yourself. Their pay is small, but their responsibility is great. The choufs (Arabic chouf means "to see" or "to look"), well positioned, are always on the alert. Discreet and untraceable, they warn the drug dealers immediately.
In this day and age, it seems impossible not to be visible, not to be observed and analyzed. Every movement, every action, every feeling and every thought is tracked by cameras and cookies. How can you still be free, feel free and think free? How can I be hidden and at the same time be located in the digital world? Can the Choufs be a model, a cornerstone of counter-surveillance?
