Cirque Bouffon - Angelo - Weihnachtsshow

In cooperation with "Kirche für Köln", Cirque Bouffon presents its Christmas dream in the church of St. Michael on Brüsseler Platz from December 12, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
An extraordinary event in a magical place: this year, the magnificent neo-Romanesque church of St. Michael will be transformed into an enchanted Christmas world, staged in the unmistakable style of Cirque Bouffon.
Entitled "Angelo", the performance is perfectly in keeping with the philosophy of St. Michael's and also embodies the motto of Cirque Bouffon: "Touching hearts and slowing down time".
The show is directed by Frédéric Zipperlin, supported by co-directors Helena Bittencourt and Goos Meeuwsen. The moving music was penned by composer Sergej Sweschinski.
In the spirit of French Nouveau Cirque, visitors can expect a sensual and poetic Christmas experience. International acrobats, jugglers, clowns, musicians and fantastic mythical creatures invite you to a dreamlike celebration that tells of community, warmth of heart, joy, light, sparkle and a pinch of magical snow. A show for all those who have not yet forgotten how to dream, and a heavenly Christmas experience for the whole family in an exceptionally contemplative place.
The enchanted atmosphere of St. Michael's and the artistic staging of Cirque Bouffon create a unique space where fantasy and festive magic come together.
