Dance the hottest dance of the 1930s with us!
Shag is a couple's dance that can be danced wonderfully to medium and faster music. Originally danced by college students in the 1920s and 1930s, it has been experiencing a revival in recent years and can be seen more and more on dance floors and at international festivals. Flying feet, fast footwork, crazy moves and lots of energy - all of which characterize the dance.
The workshop is aimed at all newcomers, role changers and those returning to the dance. Previous knowledge of other swing dances is not required! In the workshop, we will show you the most important basics so that you can start dancing immediately when the music picks up again. You can also easily continue dancing in the regular Thursday class afterwards.

Registration is possible with or without a dance partner, as it is common in swing dance for us to change dance partners in class. We will make sure that there is a good balance between leads and follows, so it is advisable to register with a partner to avoid (initially) being on the waiting list. If you register with a partner, both must register separately.
