One of the strongest German rap newcomers in terms of lyrics and content: gender roles, feminism, critical masculinity - so far no cis-male rapper has dared to present such a comprehensive work on these topics. CONNY from Cologne is sometimes witty, sometimes melancholy, sometimes personal, sometimes with a razor-sharp view of social events - but always with an eye to the corner and a great love of language, and his music makes an important contribution to current feminist discourse.
