Akino is a trainee concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store, an unusual department store dedicated exclusively to the needs of animals. Under the watchful eyes of the department manager and senior concierges, Akino tends to the needs of customers with a variety of needs and problems in order to eventually become a first-class concierge.

The Concierge is an adaptation of the manga series The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store by Tsuchika Nishimura.
