Dachshunds in discomfort - can you see them (dachshunds, that is) here? No. Would be cool, of course, but not for now. Are we supposed to be them? No, we're not that presumptuous. But we are small animals. And that's what we do. Are these evenings for people who like to see what others do? Partly! Unless it's really counterproductive, even destructive. Which it can be! The battle is fought on the premises, there are no promises.

The cornerstones:
* Any µ (Mü) of pretentiousness that resonates in the term "literary event" is to be nullified.
* Every arrogantly raised eyebrow is to be pushed back down towards the eye socket.
* Those whose eyes glaze over uncontrollably due to a performance should - if desired - be given hugs!
* Those swashbucklers and swashbucklers who use the open setting of the evenings after the performances as a stage for unreflected self-expression, even exaggeration, should be gently but firmly quietened.
* Laughter and prayer are allowed.

Even if the evening is informal, it may have a tendency to overstimulate. In addition to the total self-interest of the organizers to present their own unpublished texts, people of different creative genres will have their say, contrary to any establishment in the art and literature business, successfully escaping the usual pigeonholes. Lofty goals, unashamed directness. And dachshunds have always been noble.

DÉSIRÉE OPELA studied comparative literature at the LMU in Munich. From 2014-2016, she was a student on the Master's program at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig. Her novel In Limbo was published by Faber&Faber Verlag in August 2019 and her novel Das Wetter in uns in 2022. FRANZ FERDINAND FURTNER studied German at the LMU in Munich, is an editor at In München Stadtmagazin, bassist in the band Suddenly The Goat and can also be found on various reading stages. So far, he has only published on his own Wordpress site, but he can place two large oxheart tomatoes on top of each other, but not next to each other on his face.

Timeto Pickuppagun's music is what happens when the welfare state fails.
