THE INN ON THE DÜSSEL

Crime comedy by Stefan Schroeder

A series of murders is keeping Düsseldorf in suspense: valuable jewels are being stolen and their former owners are being murdered in cold blood. The masked murderer is always one step ahead of the police, leaving only his trademark "the black hand" at the scene of the crimes. Inspector Platt and his intrepid colleague Derrick follow a hot lead to the inn on the Düssel and stir up a can of worms. Then the police chief's pretty secretary disappears without a trace. A race against time begins. And in the meantime, of course, more murders keep happening ...

We are delighted to be able to present the Düsseldorf version of the Hagen audience hit "Das Gasthaus an der Volme" for the first time, supported by the regional cultural funding of the LVR (Landschaftsverband Rheinland). Edgar Wallace would have been delighted!
