Das Konvolut - Funk / Jazz

In the organizer's words:

Das Konvolut is a seven-piece ensemble from Leipzig that aims to get its audience dancing with a refreshing mix of genres.

Founded in 2020 by a group of musicians from Leipzig with different musical backgrounds, the band impresses with its passion for rhythmic richness, attention to detail and driving brass sections.

In their compositions, they combine the rhythms of West Africa with the grooves of American funk and the improvisational freedom of jazz to create an energetic mix of traditional and modern sounds.

With this diversity, they bring together a wide audience at their concerts, who enjoy being inspired by their captivating improvisations to create an intense experience.
